We Will Win Tonight

I never like to make guarantees but tonight I can feel it in my heart.

Somehow, someway, the A's will find a way to win tonight and Loaiza will come through.

I was so upset last night but that anger turned to joy as I know this team will rebound.

The 2006 Oakland A's have taken us all on a roller coaster ride from April to October and it isn't about to end, NOT YET! This team has too much heart and fight and despite what Chavez says, too much talent to lay down and let the Tigers do what they want to us.

So here's to tonight, the night where the A's once again show us what they are made of; which is more then what 26 other teams are made of.

Harden, Haren and Zito will be awaiting the Tigers back in Detroit and trust me, Detroit won't like what they see but every A's fan will.

I can feel it too...

I would have been more concerned if they were completely shut down last night - but the opportunites were there - they were knocking on the door... Tonight the A's emphatically open that door and slam it shut on the Tiggers...

Matchups are better tonight

Robinson may not be as good as Verlander, but we are a better matchup with Verlander IMO. If we win tonight, I like our chances in Games 3-5, because Harden and Haren were the guys I wanted to start Games 1 & 2, and Zito has had his obligatory wildly bad start for the month.

Please let 2006 be the year, and without an earthquake this time.

Yeah, I was a little upset last night that we lost

but the thing that kept me from being totally outraged and/or depressed was the fact that we were getting guys on base. Those guys are going to score tonight.
