Local sports fans may remember George Powles, the McClymond's coach who mentored Bill Russell, Frank Robinson, Joe Morgan and many other baseball and basketball players.
Monte Poole crafts an beautiful tribute to Mr. Powles, who is honored Sunday at the Oakland Museum.
