AN snubbed again

Numerous baseball sites nominated for best baseball site of 2005, and AN isn't even on the list!

http://www.redreporter.com/story/2005/12/20/21158/982

I'm going to create a user account at RedReporter and post a comment with a write in vote for AN.  Maybe some of you would like to join me.

I dont get it
Is this just someone's list from red reporter, or a real thing.

Either way, it is dumb that AN isnt on it.  Maybe the rest of the MLB blogworld sees AN as the yankees of blogs.

I've been secretly
tapping into blue gray sky's conversations (I had to, it was necessary) and I can tell you they're a threat (not at liberty to tell you why at this time). But the big threat, currently, is Omar Mooseuintanilla. I've got both my eyes, and two of my three testicles, on that man. Well, not so much my eyes, actually.

LOL
"Conservation of mass" theory suggests John Kruk probably has three eyes.

The theory also suggests that every time a church closes down, another one opens up  somewhere.

I find this post offensive
as somebody whose skin was indelibly made bright red by an industrial accident, I find your characterization of Red Reporter, the official support magazine for those whose skin has been indelibly made bright red by an industrial accident, offensive.  I smell a CGV.

I wonder how many Reds fans still hate the A's
...because of the '72 World series?  I mean, they did get back at us in the '90 Series, but '72 had two components that get peoples' blood boiling:  Charlie Finley and Joe Morgan.

I'm a believer in "picking ones battles", and this isn't one we should waste time on.  There are old-fashioned National League types who will always find reasons to dislike the Athletics.

i am #3
to post on RedReporter suggesting AN.  My only fear is that since the original post was made on Dec. 20 and we're only getting on this now, our protests might go unnoticed.  Oh well, nothing we can do but try...

D rays bay????
geeze I signed up with that blog in November when I was writing an Article about the D Rays top 10 prospects, and maybe there were a total of 10 posts on that site for the whole month...MAYBE!!!! I check out other teams blogs during the season, and non have HALF as much action as AN... I was on the Indians gameday blog, the day they lost their playoff hopes to the White Sux, and I was the only person there!!!

Just an example

I HATE THE ANGELS!!!! GO A's in 2006!!!!! The New era of the Bash Brothers is about to begin....

It doesn't really matter
because I don't think anyone is going to put much weight into whatever is decided through the vote. We were snubbed though, no doubt about it.

Off topic....
but I just realized I have an account at McCovey Chronicles. I don't even know how. I don't know when I got it, or what I was thinking. Weird. Hmm.....

Maybe I did it to keep up on Noah Lowry news.

I checked this out a while back...
and the guy at the Red Reporter had anybody and everybody nominate whatever blogs they wanted to for the contest. (I was extremely curious as to how Halos Heaven got on the list.) So it's not like there was a rigorous search for the best blogs around... people just nominated their favorites and all of those were put on the final list.
