Harden could pitch out of bullpen Sunday (AP).

``It's not out of the realm of possibility (Sunday),'' Macha said. ``If it's 3-2 in the ninth, don't expect to see Rich. If we're behind 10-0 or ahead 10-0, he may be in there.''

I've already made it clear I think it's stupid to use Harden in a low-leverage situation, because why use him at all unless you're sure he's going to be effective?

Despite a playoff-starved career and months of frustration with his production at the plate, Kendall keeps contributing big hits. The Oakland Athletics considered this about as must-win as they get, and their first-year catcher came through.

Well, I wanted to tell you that this is Chapter 7 out of a total of 12 Chapters, and so we have reached the second, darker, more tragic half of this epic adventure. The plot has been full of twists and turns, but don't worry, there will be a Cliff's Notes version available early next year. The good news is that the Link Dump will only be hijacked for Diego for five more days. The bad news is that the Link Dump will still be hijacked for five more days.
