Huston Street on Jim Rome

Huston Street is scheduled to appear on Jim Rome in the third hour today. I can't wait to hear him. I will try to post a recap on what he says. I am pretty stoked about the game tonight, as I think we will do some swinging. I don't know if anyone else listens to him, but that is the only sports radio I can pick up where I work. Either way, should be a good interview after they had washburn (who cares) on yesterday. Talk to you later.

Huston is always asked the same stuff

so he always gives the same answers. :P About pressure, big situations, blah blah blah.

As usual, Huston gives all the credit to Kendall in regards to his game plan and like last night against Vlad.

Rome was impressed with Huston's "wisdom" and Huston was saying how it's baseball and that if he'd made the same pitch to Vlad he might have hit it out and they'd be sitting there talking about how he couldn't handle the big situation instead.

Every and Any Street Interview is Good

But he did get asked a lot of the same questions he always gets asked. Anybody who has read any of his Street Talk Articles has heard the majority of the stuff he talked about.

He did talk about last night a bit and that stuff was good. Said Zito is wonderful and was totally on his game. Kendall is fabulous behind the plate and he has total trust in him. and the best line was definately when he said that on any other night, in any other situation, Vlad may have hit that ball and today we would be talking about how he CAN'T handle the pressure. That was pretty awesome.

All in all a good interview, but anytime I get to hear these guys talk it makes me happy. =)
