Around SBN: Jeff Sullivan's MLB Trade Deadline Primer

A novel idea...

Alright,  I live in Portland and its killing me not being able to catch most games.  We should have a listing on this site of where to catch games(bars) in different cities.  We should also have listings of radio casts.  I know the Gnats are cast up here but not the green and gold.  I am so sick of listening to Mariner baseball.  I need the A's.  I also know I can throw down for MLBTV but would rather find an Oakfriendly bar where I can root with other fans.

What part of Portland are you from?
I live in Southwest Beaverton but have been stuck in your position before so I might be able to help you out.

Who else on AN is from portland?  We should set up the John Jaha Chapter and see a RiverCats game at PGE sometime.

I live in...
...southeast portland. I'd love to hook up with other A's fans at a pub sometime. I don't have any great suggestions, but Claudia's on 30th and Hawthorne usually has whatever is on the satellite.

DirecTV
I use to have Satellite and they showed all of the games, if they were on Fox Sports. Though, I think it is a package that you have to pay. I had an illegal card... and it's gone now. So, now I have to revert to the radio.

Portland for the A's
I'm here in Beaverton rooting for the A's from afar. I plunked down the cash for Mlb.tv as a quick fix but miss King and Korach.

I emailed the A's about getting on the dial here in Portland. They said if a local radio station would agree to it they would broadcast here. So if there is anyone out there with connections to local radio who may have interest in airing A's baseball I plea to you - Don't delay make that contact today.

If the Gnats can be here so can we.

Long live King and Korach...

OT
NoFX rocks.
No, I do not want to FIRE MACHA NOW, nor do I think Blanton is fat. Now leave me alone.

Radio
I wonder if the As would agree to a broadcast via the Internet from my Mac out in Hawaii. I get the feed and then rebroadcast it... hmmm.

Bring back AJ Hinch...
I am in NE Portland.  I have been to the Jolly Roger a few times for pigskin but I refuse to watch anymore A's games there, as I went with my friend the Twins fan when Silva beat Rich on Rich's 1 hit 1 run game that started the downslide.  Its been all over since then.  Maybe I need to go back and exercise the demons.  Maybe some voodoo will pump up the offense...on a lighter note I work at OMSI and our current traveling exhibit is Magic.  It has one recurring video of superstitions with Art Howe and AJ Hinch circa 00...
