Bars Near Oakland to Watch Away Games??
Hello fellow ANers.
I was wondering if there are any good A's fan friendly bars either in Oakland or within 15 miles of it.
I don't really frequent sportsbars and I don't really like to drink that much either. However, I was wondering if there was an establishment where I can watch A's away games with a lot of fellow A's fans.
I've been to Ricky's in San Leandro and Pacific Coast Brewery in Old Oakland and I wasn't really impressed with either. Ricky's is mainly Raider hang-out and PCB seemed like it was mainly a lunch time/after-work place for Downtown workers.
If anybody has suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

San Francisco
My local will play them if I beg them too, but then I have to listen to all the Gnats fans constant complaining. Would love to meet up with other A's fans in the city. :)

Stef's on 2nd
As to Pacific Coast Brewing in Oakland. If I want to watch a game that is where I go. The day bartender is a huge A's fan and if the game isn't on TV he will have the radio on (and even if the game is on TV he will still usually have the radio on). I've never had any toruble getting the PCB folks to have the A's game on. The night bartender is a big Twins fan but also likes the A's. So just ask nicely and they will turn on the game for you. UCI Anteater is correct that PCB is mostly downtown office workers and other assorted riff raff (including yours truely about once/week). However they make very good beer and have a good selection of other beers if you don't find an on premise brewed beer to your liking.
