A's Power Mix
Hi everyone!
In an effort to de-funkify myself I'm making an A's Power Mix to be listened to on the way to the game today.
Anyone have any suggestions on any songs to add?
Here's what I have thus far:
The Boys of Summer-Don Henley
Real Good Looking Boy-The Who
Oakland Zone-Tower of Power
Green and Gold-Roy Ayers
Hit' Em Hard-Run-DMC
I Ran-A Flock of Seagulls
Green, Green Grass of Home-Johnny Cash
Ace of Spades-Motörhead
Beer-Asylum Street Spankers
Take Me Out to the Ballgame-Ronnie Neuman
Baseball Theme-Vince Guaraldi Trio
Great Balls of Fire-Jerry Lee Lewis
Been Caught Stealing-Jane's Addiction
Live to Win-Motörhead
Celebration -Kool & The Gang
Also, on the subject of music, does anyone know what Swish's at-bat music was? Not the one he changed back to, but the one with the banjo that he had for a while?

Yep
Swish is so rad.
he
I think he was one of the only guys at the plate
Good stuff.
that is so true
yup
When played while watching A's highlights
I might add in
"Lyrics, fill in the gap -- Drop that bass and get the NINJA RAP
Feel it, if you know what I mean -- Give it up for those heroes in green"
That will get an embarassed turn-down on our stereo when we pull into the parking lot...
Heh.

Anyways, Motorhead's "Live to Win" is turning into a favorite of mine for this contest...
They've got the power now,
But soon it's our hour now,
We all know where we been,
We all been Living to Win
...
Break down the wall,
Live it up it's their time to fall,
Anarchy is coming in,
If you know we Live To Win
Go A's!
Now, no more talking to myself!
I think the record
Songs?
- Headstrong - Trapt - Kendall's song
- Disco Inferno - Can't remember who it's by, but it was Byrnes' song if you wanna be nostalgic
- Dirt Off Your Shoulder - Jay-Z - I've heard this for Kotsay
- Harder, Stronger, Better, Faster - Daft Punk - Zito (also Megalomaniac - Incubus)
- Mother - Danzig - I believe it's Foulke's theme, but it's pretty righteous
- Shut 'em Down - Public Enemy - OctAAAHvio Dotel
- The Greatest - Kenny Rogers (no, not THAT Kenny Rogers!)
