OMAR Q's DEBUT!!!!!!

Since im sure not everyone here keeps up with the team with the worst record in baseball very often( The Colorado Rockies) many of you may have missed that our one time future second basemen Omar Quintanilla made his major league debut. He played shortstop and batted second in the order while going 1-3 with a stolen base in a 9-2 victory for the Rockies.

I was more dissapointed to see Omar in the Byrnes deal to colorado than i was to see Byrnes go but with the drafting of chris Pennington i guess Omar became expandable. With a team like Colorado Omar could play right away whereas here he was still probably acouple of years away from contributing. We should all wish him luck and that Colorado didnt rush him to the pros to fast as they often do with players.
