I Finally Completed a Full Season of MVP 2005 Baseball

I know most of you don't care but I've seen a few threads on the topic so I thought I'd offer some comments.

The team finished with the best record in the majors 115-47.

Eric Chavez hit .270 with 63 HR and 145 RBI's to win the MVP award.

Kirk Sarloos went 22-3 with a low 2 era to win the Cy Young.

Nick Swisher hit .260 with 26 homeruns, he also walked over 100 times and had a team high .385 OBP, on his way to winning the Rookie of Year.

Also:
Durazo hit 40+ homeruns and won a silver slugger. Eric Byrnes was hitting .330 around the allstar break and flopped all the way to .260.. he did however join the 30-30 club.
Saarloos won 22 games, Harden 20, Zito 20, Haren 18, Blanton 11, Dan Meyer 2
Ricardo Rincon was unhittable ~1 ERA
I traded Dotel the day he decided he was out for the year and "Huston Street" was 17-18 in Save chances.

playoff matchup is A's vs Yanks and Red Sox vs Twins

and yes, I have WAY too much time on my hands
