Im new to writing diaries but im not new to Athleticsnation. Ive been an A's fan for many years, well since im 17 that can only be so long. Im known around school for being an A's fanatic so its good to see all the others here. Oh yea, my names HarensClone becuase everyone i see says that i look identical to...Danny Haren.

I kinda got into that thread but hey welcome to AN! It's a really great site, and there are some really cool, interesting people here. Just be forewarned... it is habit-forming. I've only been here like a couple months, and I'm hooked. It's great to meet other teenage A's fans (I'm 18), so many of my friends are Giants fans. Ick. Well hey, have fun!

welcome to AN. I hope that you will be able to understand the bipolar nature of the site is just an extention of how much we care about the A's and how much we feel the team's pain. I am of the 'optimist' bent myself but there are others who are of the 'realist' persuasion and there are times when the 2 segments clash. Don't worry, it is not personal and we are all A's fans here.

And I bet that you have some cool stories to tell about razzing hte Kuiper clan. I have two giants fan parents and one of my siblings is a giants fan. I often just enter the house when I visit by yelling '1989!!!' at the top of my lungs. That never gets old.

Well..

My mother realized she needed to pay the bills and check her email online. She also needed to sign up for her college courses online. And one of the courses she's taking is an online course. She didn't want to go to the library to do everything.

I guess washing the cars, babysitting non-stop and making dinner four nights in a row didn't hurt the cause either... ;)
