Surf Dawgs, Petco Park

Rickey, Rickey, Rickey, Rickey

Here is Rickey perparing for his first of five plate appearances. He would total 0 ABs

Here is Rickey after having walked. He would walk 5 times, having seen 25 pitches and swung once (foul ball). He also stole a base and scored a run.

Rickey could frequently be found giving tips to his teammates. He also tended to find himself a nice spot all alone at the end of the bench.

Rickey leaving the dugout, about 4 feet from where I was sitting.

Rickey's glove and hat, left sitting on the second to top step of the dugout while the Dawgs were at bat.

Me and Rickey!!!!!
After the game, Rickey signed autographs for every single person waiting and posed for a few pictures. Unfortunately, though, he could sign any MLB related materials, so my 8x10 of him lifting #939 remains unsigned.

Here's a little something that sort of resembles what the park looks like.

It's really a cool park. It looks great in the neighborhood and makes a great backdrop for the ballgame.

He was pulled off the bag, I have the picture to prove it.

Trevor Hoffman v Ichiro, two outs, Pads up one.

Everyone's happy - Pads won, Ms lost.

Dinner was great, thanks Bhaskar!

I wrote an op-ed piece on going to the games that I'm hoping to get published, so those thoughts are off limits for posting right now.
