Zito's Contract Situation

Does anyone know exactly what Zito's contract situation is for next season and beyond?  I have seen conflicting reports on this matter.  I know that incentives he reached last season pushed his salary to $5,600,000 in 2005.  Is he a free agent after this season?  Is there a club option or a player option for 2006; at what price?  Thanks for the help.

club option for 2006
I'm not sure of the details, but I do know the A's have Zito next year if they want him.

CLub option at 8.5 million.
Now I am not sure but would guess it turns to automatic if he reaches some incentive.

the 8.5 is why I support trading him. A team in a's position can pay an average pitcher that much, and too gog of chance that is all he will be.

I believe
the incentive was a Cy Young win.

mission: accomplished.

re
The Cy Young win was an incentive to add money to the deal. According to Slausser, once he hits 180 IP's this season his option will kick in.

Option at
Something like 8.5 million, it's automatically vested if he throws 180+ innings pitched this year.
