The A's will probably open their series against the Blue Jays wearing their green tops. Respect the streak right? Why change their winning ways?
One reason why baseball is like no other sport on Earth, the superstitions.
I've been wearing the same A's hat every day since Monday, since the beginning of the longest win streak of the season, and you can bet that I'm going to wear it tomorrow. At the beginning of the season I thought that hat was jinxed and decided to retire the cap and unretire an older grody cap that would make Eric Gagne proud (hella sweat stains). But now the hat has been unretired and the old hat re-retired. Yeah, it's a fan supersition. I'm a pretty rational guy except for my fan supersitions and my performance routine. But fan superstitions is one of the things that makes being a baseball fan fun.
What are your fan superstitions? Has it helped the A's so far?
