Jose Guillen Blasts Off......

Man I love this guy even more now...Dont pull any punches Jose!

After Washington's 1-0 victory, Jose Guillen blasted Scioscia, his manager with the Angels last season. ``He was talking to me last year about respect and class and how we have to move on,'' Guillen said. ``I don't care really much about Mike Scioscia. I have no respect for him any more, because I'm still hurt from what happened last year. Mike Scioscia to me is like a piece of garbage. I don't care if I get in trouble. He can go to hell.''

Pretty soon
Guillen's going to have to go play in Japan, since there will be at least one "sworn enemy" of his on every team in the majors...

Why did it take two years???
For Jose to turn around his attitude???

Yeah,
I smiled when I saw that earlier today. The Angels remind me of such an old boy's club. If you piss one of the popular boy's off, they'll screw you right or wrong. Maybe Guillen shouldn't have done what he did, but to throw him off the team for the remainder of the season! That's just a dick move. Screw Scioscia and the Angels.

A win today puts us 9 back. I'm sniffing a race in our future!!!

Last year
the Angels, without Guillen, lost the Playoffs too.  Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Not just got swept
they were like boys among men ...
The next time I slap a guy's ass, can we all just assume it's because I wish I was a baseball player?

I loved it.
Guillen's little Scioscia rant was awesome.  I think its been brewing for a while, and he finally had a reason to get it off his chest.  Guillen has really emerged into the leader of the Nationals, kinda sad we didn't resign him when we had the chance (although we don't know how he was here...but I never heard anything bad)

I heard bad stuff
Like how the A's players asked Beane to NOT re-sign him. But I don't know if that was ever shown to be true or false.

There were rumblings.
It sounded like some people were unhappy about Guillen, in the clubhouse and in the front office. And I never quite forgave him for publically ragging on Beane about not negotiating an extension with him three weeks after the trade -- when Guillen hadn't been hitting and Mulder had just gone down, giving Beane a hell of a lot of other things to worry about.

I think that Guillen wasn't suited for the A's, otherwise he would have still been here, given his pricetag.

But it's nice to see he's found somewhere that he's happy with, at least. And that rant was DEFINITELY awsome.

He came through for us
and played while hurt, I'll give him that.

BTW, is it bad grammar to string together two prepositions?

Naw
I assume you're inquiring about "came through for"? In this case, "through" is not really a preposition but rather a modifier of the verb. Like another example, "He gave up in the morning". I'm no English professor, but I'd say it's okay.

Who knew???
that there would be a Washington-Angels rivalry??  Too bad we have to wait 3 more years to see it again!

i'm a huge guillen fan...
...if you look at just the a's and yankee teams throughout the years, the 70's and 80's esp., they both had huge ego players who were generally SOBs and expected to kick ass every game. guillen is exactly like that. just play him every day, show him mucho love and respect and he's a warrior.

jose guillen can play rf on my team anyday.
