A couple of weeks ago I noticed that one of the Blue Jays sites has a game before every series. They ask a bunch of questions, the posters guess the answers, and they keep track over the season as to who does the best.
I thought this would be fun, so I put together a list for the Mets series. If there is a lot of interest, I'll do it for every series, and I'll keep standings.
This would be my proposed scoring system:
3 points for a correct answer
1 point for a partially correct answer
1 point for a correct answer on an either/or question
-1 for an incorrect answer
Who will win the Atl Series?
If you answer A's in a sweep, you would be partially correct.
So, for the Mets series:
1)Series winner: (specify 2/3 or sweep)
2)Individual player with most RBI
3)Best one-game performance by a hitter
4)Stolen bases off Kendall
5)Team that commits the most errors
6)Pitcher that records the most strikeouts
7)Best single-game ERA for starter
8)Total number of HR hit
9)Total IP by A's starters
10)Which bullpen will give up the most runs
11)Number of starts for Eric Byrnes
12)Number of times Reyes K's
13)Who gets more hits: Beltran or Chavez?
14) Will there be an extra inning game?
Deadline is gametime on Tuesday (7 pacific)
