Boston Area ANers, now is the time

for all good A's fans to come together. First game vs. the loathed Sox is tomorrow evening, which, because I live in a technological dark age, will actually mark the first time I'll be able to watch our guys.

So let's meet up somewhere. Last time a Boston area diary was posted, a large sports bar near the Fleet (or the facility formerly known as the Fleet) was suggested. My own feeling is to pick a place less popular, hence less crowded, hence less full of Sox fans. While certainly wide open to suggestions, one idea I had was the Asgard on Massachusetts ave in Cambridge. 1) While I haven't been in there during a game, the times I have been in there it hasn't been crowded at all, B) It's pretty big with a number of TVs, 3) it seems to be fairly near a number of Hub ANers that I am aware of, and D), there's an "A's" in "Asgard".

What say you all?
