Rearranged Rotation
Just thought I would throw this out there to see what people's thoughts were. The A's have rearranged their rotation so that Barry Zito and Rich Harden will each pitch three games during a 12-game stretch against the Red Sox and Yankees which begins Friday.
Zito is scheduled to start Friday against the Yankees and Wednesday in Boston, and then again in Oakland against the Yankees on the 15th. Harden goes Sunday in New York, next Friday against the Yankees and the 18th against the Red Sox.
Who's idea was this Macha or Beane? Is this really necessary?
