question for hatteberg
Blez, if you interview Hatteberg i'd like to know which he would prefer: 1) a ten-pitch walk, or 2) a homerun. i'm guessing he gets more joy out of a walk.

time to go back and read the panicky posts
this offense sucks...no clutch hitting...no hits with RISP...one game statistical comparison to some team that scored a bunch of runs on opening day...

K's Sosa!
Street seemed nervous at first. Didn't look as confident as when he was pitching against the Giants... but he quickly settled down and got Sosa on that nasty slider...

So no, I'm not that excited. But if they do this to the Angels, Yanks, and/or RSux you can be sure that I'll be excited.

How did you become an A's fan?
Incidentally, the rumor growing up was that Curt Schilling was born in Ketchikan. The offical line is Anchorage, but there were always rumors it was actually in Ketchikan. I'm not saying I believe them, but it would probably be the greatest claim to fame if it were true.
