AL and NL West article

Here is a nice little article about the AL and NL West Divisions and how so much is going on out here. It makes you realize how much attention is given to the East Coast and not the West Coast. Some good props are given to the A's players, like Harden, Haren, Calero. A little too much about the Giants (in my biased opinion), but still good to know some writers havent forgot about the best division in baseball.

Dillema

Alright, I'm in for a treat. At 10 am, they are showing the game on TV over here on fox sports world. This would be after the game is over. What should i do? Should i listen live at 5 am? Or should i watch replay at 10 (this of course means from 10-1 i can't find out who won the game or it will all be ruined)

By the way: So funny. When i press the synopsis button, it says, "American baseball: Los Angeles Anaheim versus Oakland A's"

That's a toughie

Always better to watch than to listen (I can't believe you'll be able to see them in another country, and I'll still just be listening); on the other hand, I always need to know how they're doing right now when they''re playing. It's not advice, but I'd probably listen (ignoring the 5 am wake-up time factor), and if we won, I'd watch it later.

Fickle Sportswriters

Funny...this is the second article I've read today that suggests that the baseball world just might extend beyond the AL East.

Interesting.

All I can figure is that there must have been some kind of problem with the press buffet at Fenway last night to piss off so many sportswriters.

They'll forget us soon enough, which is fine by me.

California

has 5 MLB teams, more than any other two states put together, but of course, since we're out on the edge of the world, I guess we're not all that important. What attention we do get is usually reserved for the G's and D's. We might as well be a minor league team, as far as the national media is concerned. Oh, well. We know the truth: THE A'S ARE THE BEST TEAM ANYWHERE!
