Hello all.  I went to the RiverCats game yesterday afternoon. I was able to watch Dan Meyer give up 7 runs (all earned) on 8 hits over 5 innings.

He got blooped quite a bit early giving up 2 runs in the first with only one ball hit hard.  

He got rocked with a long 3 run homer in the 3rd and he got knocked around in the 5th for 2 more runs.  

My two biggest impressions were that
1.> he fell behind a lot and
2.> he didn't seem to have an "out pitch".  He had a number of at bats that he got two strikes on a batter but then he the batter would foul off pitch after pitch until Meyer gave him something good to hit.

Even with getting knocked around, he still seemed to have a presence on the mound...so I think his ego is still intact!!

By the way, for the Sacramento area AN...I have a 20 game ticket package and there will be games I can't use them or I might have one ticket left...if anyone wants to go...just let me know.
