WARNING: Pointless story below!
Yesterday I was sitting with my brother in his season ticket seats behind 3rd base, watching the Giants take on the Rockies, when who should trot out into the 3rd base coaches box for the Rockies, but none other than former A's 2nd baseman and chia pet, and perennial Chris Berman favorite, Mike "Leggo My" Gallego. Being as I have a soft spot in my heart for most ex A's, and I was sportin' my AN ringer tee and an A's cap, I decided to go down and try and chat with him. I shouted out "Mike!" and he turned around and waived, but the inning was starting so I went back to my seat. An inning later I went down again and asked him how he wound up with the Rockies. He told "Oakland was already full!". That was all the time I had before the next inning started.
By the way, one Giants fan yelled at me "Hey Buddy, you're in thew wrong stadium!" and another summed up his feelings much more succinctly by shouting "The A's SUCK!", both from the anonymity of the crowd. Not so bad, really.
