Jerry Crasnick's article (insider content) on Chinese Baseball on ESPN.com made me remember something about Chinese Baseball...
Chairman Mao outlawed baseball in China, claiming it to be "capitalist."
And yet we use old Chairman Mao posters to extoll the virtues of Billy Beane, a capitalistic Basebal GM.
Ahh the irony of it.
Mao must be rolling in the glass case in Beijing.
