This might be a bit early to talk about so if you find it so please forgive me:

Since it is only three weeks away I would like to post RE the A's home opener.  I am going to be flying out to California, to see my parents, visit my home area, and SEE THE A'S.  During this little trip I am going to attend several A's games including the home opener.  

I am really excited about this because for all the years that I have been an A's fan I have never gone to a home opener.  This is going to be especially sweet because I am going to be going with my dad.  We are going to be sitting in section 124, row 19, seats 8 & 9.  

The real purpose of this diary is to ask;

-Are there any home opener memories that A's fans out there have?  Where you there in 90 (or 73, 74, or 75) during the home openers after a world series championship when the players got there rings?  Where you there to see Stew win an opening game?  Any special memories about the game or the pageantry of the home opener?  

-Are you going to be there this year?  I plan to wear my A's BP jersey that says, "Johnson 13" on the back and a green road cap to the game.  Do you have any plans for opening night?
