Like celebrity deaths, celebrity breakups come in threes. The A's pitcher and the actress just parted ways. The winner in this breakup? A's fans. With Zito forced to carry the staff in 2005, he'll need his full focus on baseball following the worst season of his career. -- Metro New York

I don't know if this is true or not and really don't care too much either, but I thought some would find interest in this.

Barry deserves to be happy. we need a happy Zito to show this year. I would welcome her back if she could cast a spell on his arm to get Magically stronger every pitch after 100.

Britney Speas is not an upgrade...I can see her gain a whole lot of weight in the next few years. Also she has lines on her face from too much partying.

Well,

I didn't want to be too harsh. I don't especially like the word "hate". I almost hated her when I saw those pictures though. That was some horrible feeling. Seeing the person I dislike the most out of Hollywood (even though Hilary Duff is a close second) kissing the guy I've been crushing on for like 6 years? Stomach sinking feeling, man.

BTW, Mychael Urban mentioned Zito going to the USC games this off season. He drifted dangerously close to the topic of the break up but didn't quite make it there. :)
