Where am I?

ANers, I have a really bad case of the flu. I'm running a temperature of nearly 104.

So, I'll check in on occasion, but I'm going to be sleeping most of the day.

By the way, I'm planning on doing Marty Lurie's show Inside Baseball tomorrow night. If I'm feeling better by then. Tune in if you can. Marty is being incredibly understanding about my illness, so thanks to him for that.

Fast food: Those players who went to the split-squad game at Tucson on Saturday got a treat. Manager Ken Macha had the bus stop at a Dairy Queen, the team trooped in with their uniforms on, like a Little League squad, and Macha shelled out $51 for their orders.

"He told me a couple days ago he was going to do that and I thought he was kidding," infielder Marco Scutaro said.

Macha said the other patrons were staring at the A's, "wondering if we were a softball team."

Also make sure when you blow your nose that the stuff the comes out is clear, if it has colors like yellow or green, it could be an infection.
