Nomar signs 1 yr deal with the Dodgers
According the the Boston Herald its a 1 yr deal for 6 million in base salaray but filled with incentives that could increase that to around 8 million
Now the A's werent a part of the Nomah sweepstakes, but this could send NY into a frenzy on signing Damon. If they fail to sign Damon, I wouldnt be suprised if Beane gets a call regarding Payton.
Another thing to think about is how much Frank Thomas could command if Nomar is getting a 6 million dollar 1 yr deal.

Now, we'll see if Nomahhhh can stay healthy; maybe the 1-year deal will be added incentive for him...

Finally!
Once again,
Frank Thomas' value may be dropping...
Given his "baggage vs. pop," I think our chances of getting him improves with every day.
I think with Thomas

LOL
I think the holidays have something to do with the delay, turning "two weeks" into "over a month," but yes, I've redd more than once that all the reports won't be back until January. Could just be that some tests are actually two tests that have to be done with some time in between.
