dude are you talking about
the urban audio is available on mlb.com, which i'm sure can handle a lot more than 24 downloads.

way to offer an unnecessary yet still inefficient service.

"Dude"
That page wasn't there when I posted this, and the audio was not available from any website.

Way to act like an asshole on the internet.

I don't think
there's a whole lot of acting involved.

in theory i'm a nice guy
just like how in theory communism works....

of course in reality communism killed more people in the 20th century than any other idea (colonialism, religious fundamentalism, fascism, etc.), but it's not like that would stop berkeley hippies with teaching credentials from advocating it...

Correct, communism is terrible.....
but socialism has worked. There's a difference.

totally kidding
I don't wanna debate anything.

Ok, let's not debate...
but there are positives and negatives to every economic system. It's just a matter of what you find to be important. For the record, I think a middle of the road approach is best..you know, free health care and equal education, yet less restrictions on employment than say, France and Germany.

ok, and why don't you tell me...
how many people can't afford an MRI even though there are plenty of them here in the US.

but it should be noted
that our pun-spewing AN "comerade" who likes to pretend he's a teenage girl (okay, that's not at all creepy) was comparing capitalism and communism (not socialism) in his recent anti-capitalist rant...

What's so ridiculous
is that X-whatever's angry and hostile posts completely miss the point I was making anyway. I hope, and trust, that 3800 other users did not mistake the following (my exact words) for suggesting that communism is superior to capitalism:

"I think a non-corrupt capitalist system OR a non-corrupt communist system would work better than any corrupt system. Corruption, greed, lust for power--they are the problems, whether you're looking at baseball or at life."

I don't really write all that cryptically--if you're of a mind to hear what I say, not what you want to hear so you can get angry. My theory: Milton Bradley is a member of AN whose user name starts with 'x'. If I'm right, then in fairness I cannot claim to be the AN user with the best OBP.

i'm pretty sure that was not the case
the link the the urban story was posted on AN (in the main page bradley thread) at 3:33 and i immediately clicked on it and went directly to the radio interview.  i was already listening when i saw this diary.  i posted my comment after downloading from your diary and figuring out that it was the same thing.

It was really good!
I didn't download it, I listened to it on the A's website.

I am thinking of changing my sig line to "Happy Holidays Billy Beane!"

Hey man, thanks for putting that up!
I downloaded it off you, fun stuff to hear. I'm not a huge Urban fan, but it was pretty funny seeing how quickly things can completely change. Good stuff about Zito.

His comments about having all the mlb.com reporters together at the winter meetings makes me picture them having a complicated series of hand gestures to communicate across the room as the eavesdrop on GM conversations at the hotel bar.

for some reason I can't listen
from the A's website. This didn't used to be a problem (it's probably something in my computer).

actually I appreciated the download link
since my computer is currently not allowing me to listen to mlb.com radio (out, Damon!!)

I really enjoyed the interview. By the way, Urban does mention Payton playing leftfield in the interview, even if he didn't mention him in the article.
