Update [2005-11-6 3:39:8 by Apricot]: It's been a day and a half, resulting in almost exactly 30,000 votes. Some of you are frighteningly committed to clicking. I figured out a way to very quickly compute which other voters voted like you, both on exact pairs and by each entity's winning percentage. Look for the link next to your name... it should pop-up a window.

I think I'll leave this up through Monday, so people who want to spice up their workday can do so.

I'm thinking about what to do for the next time around. It's pretty amusing to do this, but I'd like to try different entities. This could be a regular 'first weekend of the month' deal, or maybe more often.

Ideas: (1) actors/actresses/directors/movies, (2) free for all, (3) uh, that's all I've got right now.

Update [2005-11-4 19:58:46 by Apricot]: Okay, it's live. It will probably keep working. Go play with the Hinderlord Smackdown voting site. If the site handles the traffic, I'll leave it up past the weekend.

I've been trying to get it ready for this weekend (GnGG picked this date). I'm trying to add a few new twists, mainly that people can track their votes and will be able to see whose tastes are similar or dissimilar.

Here is the current list of entities to rate. For those new to Moneybutt, it's an online people rating game. You can see what happened last time.  If you want to add someone on the list, give me the name and a URL to a picture of them, preferably in the format

My only criteria are that (1) they are either connected to the A's or baseball or have been already mentioned on AN before today; (2) they are not AN members; and (3) the link is to either your own server or some server that won't mind the traffic.  

If you want to have your favorite pictures of someone on the list added, submit them in the same format.
