I heard something form a friend (who in turn, heard it from his uncle) that I want to share with everybody heare.

I heard that Barry Zito and his dad had a talk this offseason.  They discussed many things, including Barry's performance as a ballplayer.  In the end they came to the conclusion that Barry was not focused on baseball with all of his side gigs like his guest appearance on JAG (Catherine Bell is HOT) to him playing guitar with his sister's band, the Sally Zito Project.

Barry resolved to be more focused on baseball now more than ever since he's now the #1 starter.  He said he's giving up the guitar and is just going to be a baseball player until he retires from baseball.

Now this is truly an "unconfirmed report" since I heard it from a guy who heard it from his uncle.  I tried to google this in the past weeks but my searches were in vain.  However his commments in the media lately have been encouraging.  Also looking in his stats, I personally beleive that he's due for a bounce back.

Has anybody heard something about Zito like what I've heard?

Is this guy going to be Cy Young Zito again?
