Notes on a bunch of our prospects

Well, Wait till Next Year got to a bunch of A's in the 16-30 range of his prospect list. Here's a few nutshell statements:

Dan Meyer--Rich man's Mark Redman, will combine with Joe Blanton to throw 300+ solid innings.

Daric Barton--Had an inconsistent year, could be compared to Scott Hatteberg. Could also be compared to Carlos Delgado (Me likes that).

Nick Swisher--Potential ROY finalist, could be second or third best hitter on the A's In 2005 (me likes this, too).

Here you go, read for yourselves:

Wow
I just realized something.  The guy is going into the top 15.  Garcia clocks in at 69.  Meyer, Blanton, Barton, and Swisher show up in the 20-40 range.

He still hasn't mentioned Huston Street.  Which means either this guy is completely off his rocker or he considers Street one of the top 15 prospects in baseball.

Wow.

nope
He's just not ranking 2004 draftees.
Huston won't be on this list.
But even so: at this point Bryan has ranked 60 players and 10% of them are A's- wow.  And I think there's a decent chance that Herrara might show up in the top 15.

I was pretty disapointed about Barton's ranking and notes.  Oh well... if he was a sure fire future star there's no way WJ would have made that move.  Too bad he's going to move out from behind the dish.

Herrera won't be there
The guy says somewhere that one of his weaknesses is he doesn't pay much attention to the short-season leagues, where Herrera was all last year.  I guess one guy pursuing a hobby just can't catch everything.

i like him...
if not for the sole reason that he states "A Chavez-Crosby-Q-Johnson infield would be very solid for Billy Beane in 2006, when you have to figure the A's to be a favorite for the World Series."

Thank you
I was wondering what that meant.
Go Bruins!
