Very important
Very important!
Someone care to tell me how the winning run got on base? Oh yea, we IBB'ed him.
MACHA'ED!
Please fire Macha. If we fire him, I will seriously consider this a "plus" season for me. I can't go through another year of this imbecile.

Macha
Don't blame Macha for this loss. Blame Dotel. He served up the beach ball.

I've been taught you don't IBB the winning run
At home, ok. You have a chance to bring it back.
On the road? NEVER

Wash?
However #1: Dotel, much like Mulder, didn't make the pitches after the defense let him down.
However #2: Would firing Macha (and replacing him on an interim basis with ... Ron Washington?) light a fire under the team?

Totally Agree with Murph
BTW, Murph, you're not John Murphy who was the A's fan in the World Series of Poker, are you?

Macha -- I do like him...
I thought I understood from "Moneyball" that the A's front office does prefer managers they can control anyway -- all the personnell decisions and strategies are laid out by Billy Beane. I'm sure that is an oversimplification, but Macha would seem to fit into the A's organization well in that way.
The teams recent toubles: lack of hitting, crappy pitching. I don't think it is Macha at all.
