Yes, the Mecir era is (officially) finally over in Oakland.  I feel so good today, despite the weather.

No Rhodes, no Mecir, Rincon back to being a 1 AB lefty specialist...Huston Street as a mid-season callup?  '05 bullpen is looking good...hopefully.

Mecir, to his credit did put up some good mumbers in his career, but in a high pressure situation, he always seemed to be the guy giving the other team a clutch hit.

I fear Mecir no more.

I hope Mecir has a chance to enjoy his retirement, I know I will.
