Why all this hand-wringing about "poor Giambi?"  Giambi is getting exactly what he deserves .... this is a guy that has obviously used steroids for some time now -- if you needed his "confession" to realize this, you're beyond naive -- and now it's time to pay up.  His health problems, although not all tied to steroid use, will unfortunatley plague him as a result.  Not to mention the oncoming fall-out from the BALCO case.  I guess the thing that really bothers me the most though was his consistent denial of something he now seems to finally admit is true.  I just have no sympathy for a person who lies over and over and over again and finally gets busted -- now I'm supposed to feel sorry for him?!  But why should I be surprised when he stood in front of his locker after every game several years ago and swore over and over again how "desparately," how "passionately," how "devotedly" he longed to remain an Athletic.  Please.  The guy's a loser.
