Great Addition

And the more I see this Kendall guy, the more he looks like my asshole uncle. The poor guy. I know it's not fair, but Kendall, if he isn't traded, is going to have to do a lot to win me over. Or my uncle will have to have a face transplant.

It gave me a chuckle. The main page has a background wallpaper of repeating Pirates logos. The forum page has a background wallpaper of our Elephant-on-baseball logo :)

Some weird stuff from their forum

In the midst of a discussion about whether or not to be angry at the Pirates front office (my take: Yes, they've run the team into the ground) a Pirate-defender had this to offer:

"Free agency hit this city like a ton of bricks back in the early 80's. The management we have now is rebuilding this team after that harsh blow and now your trippin' all over them."

What?

Free agency hit like a ton of bricks and you're now rebuilding the team TWENTY YEARS LATER? Is that a joke?

There were also assorted hopes that somehow one of our (their) pitchers wouldn't pass the physical. No dice, apparently, as medical technology has yet to be able to perceive the suck waves emanating from Rhodes' left arm.
