Thank You, Drummer Guys

It was awesome to have you (or at least some of you) back for these last couple of games, even with the ugly results.  You guys bring a ton of life to the games, and I've really missed hearing the drums.

trade rhodes et al for more drummers...
i've always thought that the drummers are awesome, especially when they were coming out to every game.  i wish the A's would have a "Bring a drum, get a bleacher seat for a buck" deal for every game.  that way, even when we have small crowds, we'd have beautiful noise.

an in another non-baseball aside:  wow those were great fireworks on friday night!

you stayed for the fireworks?
i left in the eighth.  the first time i've ever left an a's game before it ended.

how can anyone be in the mood for bright lights and loud noises after a 10-0 loss in the most important game of the year...

Hammer Guy
You know they still make the guy with the hammer on the third deck pay?  That'll be the day when the drum idea flies (and i think it's a very good one)

No discount
The drum kids used to get discounted bleacher season tickets from the front office...Until George Steinbrenner complained to the MLB that the A's were creating an "illegal cheering section" so the drum kids had to buy their season tickets for full price.

Yet another reason to hate the Yankees.

You've got to be kidding me.
How petty can you get?  What an asshole.
